Wayne Wallace, Jr.

Wayne F. Wallace, Jr., 63 of Palmerton died Friday October 20, 2017 in HCR Manor Care, Allentown.  Born in Panama, he was the son of the late Wayne F. Sr., and Jacqueline A. (Sherman) Wallace.  Wayne was a 1971 graduate of Slatington High School.  He most recent worked for and retired from Lowe & Moyer's.  Prior to that, he also worked for Diebert's Trucking, Adams Brothers, and the former Keystone Lamp Factory in Slatington.  Wayne was an avid pool player, competing at various clubs such as the Petersville Rod & Gun Club, and the former Rusty Nail in Palmerton.  He enjoyed racing stock cars at Dorney and Mahoning Valley Speedways.
Survivors - Son: Matthew Silfies; Siblings: Jacqueline "Dolly" Eck, Larry Wallace and wife Kathy, Dwayne "Sam" Wallace and wife Linda, Terry Wallace, Cynthia " Cindy" Wallace; Uncle: Paul Wallace; Aunt: Patsy Berger; many nieces & nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister Barbara Becker.
Services- 7pm Wednesday October 25, 2017 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington.  Calling hours 5-7pm.
