Wilbur Owens

Wilber “Lindy” Owens, 87 of Whitehall died Sunday September 14, 2014 in Liberty Nursing & Rehab Center. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Owen Sr. and Eva (Best) Owens. Lindy served in the US Army during WWII. He worked in the shipping & receiving department for Sears Roebuck of Whitehall for 22years. Lindy was a life member of the Fullerton American legion Post 367, and the Fullerton Fire Co.
Survivors: Sister; Lorraine and husband Donald Wotring of Allentown.
Services: 1pm Thursday September 18, 2014 Union Cemetery PA Rte 873, Slatington. No Calling hours. Arrangements Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
