William G. James, 78, of Walnutport passed away, July 9, 2013 in Mahoning Valley Nursing Home, Lehighton. He was the husband of Leila (Johnson) James, they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past January. Born in Dickson City, PA, he was the son of the late William & Carrie (Kegal) James. William was the owner/operator of his own trucking business. He invented a tool to be used in large truck maintenance. He created J & J Tool Co., Inc. to market the tool. He attended and was very active in Calvary Bible Fellowship Church.
Survivors: Wife, son, William & wife Tracy James of Perkasie, daughter, Carol & husband Raymond Keller of Harleysville, four grandchildren, one great grandchild. William was predeceased by an infant son Ronald.
Services: 11:00am, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 233 Main St., Walnutport, PA. Calling hour, 10-11:00am at the church. Arrangements, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington.
