William Shuey

William L. Shuey, 80 of Northampton formerly of Walnutport, and Slatington died unexpectedly Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of the late Bernice N. (Muth) Shuey who died in 1988. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Russell and Kathryn (Kehler) Shuey. He was a self employed carpenter throughout the area for many years.
Survivors: Daughters; Deborah Kravetz of Whitehall, Jane and husband Max Achey of Cherryville, Cindy and husband Robert Harwi of Fleetwood. Son; Jeffrey Shuey and wife Nina of Virginia Beach VA. 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Brother; Edwin Shuey of Stroudsburg. Sisters; Anna Wegner of Laurys Station, June Kuntz of Slatington, Deanna Steigerwalt of Troy, PA. and Pearl Brown of Bethlehem He was pre-deceased by 6 other siblings.
Services: 11am Tuesday May 26, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
