Woodrow W. Sayers, Sr.
Woodrow W. Sayers, Sr. 87 of Slatington passed away July 3, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dorothy M. Sayers. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary on October 23, 2009. Born in Wytheville, VA, he was the son of the late John and Lucy Sayers. He was a retired loom fixer at Stanwood Mills in Slatington. The important things in his life included his family and his ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He faithfully served Jehovah for 60 years as a member of the Slatington Congregation, many of them as an elder. In his ministry, he helped many to know God's purpose for man through the benefits of God's Kingdom.
"Pop"쳌 will be lovingly missed by his wife, sons; Woodrow W. Jr., and his wife Linda, Jeffrey, and his wife Angela. Grandchildren; Leah Kovalchick, Caleb and Aaron Sayers. Great Grandchildren; Cole, Emma and Luke Kovalchick, nieces & nephews in Virginia and many many dear friends.
