Yvonne Peters

Yvonne M. Peters, 65, of Slatington passed away peacefully in her home on November 30, 2021, after a six-year battle with cancer.   She was the wife of the Robert G. Peters.  They celebrated their 20th anniversary on August 10 of this year.  Born in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Joyce (Barry) Pfancook.  She spent her career as a nurse at various locations throughout the Lehigh Valley.
In addition to her husband Robert, She is survived by sons: Randy Kuehner of Kunkletown, Eric Kuehner of Palmerton; step-daughters: Julie Browne of Allentown, Megan Gross of Schnecksville; siblings: Norman Pfancook and wife Carol of Yardley, PA, Bonnie and husband Henry Snyder of Kunkletown, James Pfancook and wife Brenda of East Stroudsburg, Brenda and husband Donald Gouger of Kunkletown, Chris Pfancook and wife April of Kunkletown; Grandchildren: Brandon, Logan, Austin & Haley Kuehner, Riley and Grayson Gross.
A funeral service will be held at 7PM on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 6 to 7PM at the funeral home.  Contributions can be made in her memory to the Friedens Volunteer Fire Company, 3158 Friedens Rd, Slatington, PA 18080.
