Yvonne Riley

Yvonne S. “Duka” Riley, 84, formerly of Treichlers passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Gracedale Nursing Home.   She was the wife of Donald A. Riley, whom she married January 6, 1962.   Born in Hokendauqua on March 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Esther A. (Fornwalt) Vandergrift.   Yvonne worked as a presser for D&D Shirt Factory, Northampton for many years before retiring.   She was a member of St. John’s UCC, Slatington.
In addition to her husband Donald, she is survived nieces & nephews, sister-in-law: Sandra Vandergrift.   She was pre-deceased by sisters Louise Keppel, Betty Kramer, Lorraine Gollatz, Marjorie Silvius and brothers: Edward and Donald Vandergrift.
Services will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lehigh Township Fire Co., 4188 Lehigh Dr, Cherryville PA 18035
